Run today & Healthy Eats

Went for a run today with a friend and we took Pippin (house dog) with us. It was about a 20 minute run. I wasn’t my best run but it was good to get out there.

I ate really well today. Farm fresh eggs and turkey bacon for breakfast. Lunch consisted of cherries, yogurt, a banana, and a peach. For dinner I had two chicken breasts, celery, carrots, and rice.

I’m picking up my fitbit tomorrow as well so we shall see how that goes!

Weigh in Results

Since I’m feeling great I decided to test the scale for the first time in months.

192.6!

Definitely not my lowest but it easily could’ve been much higher.

I’ll probably weigh myself every other week to make sure I’m on track/maintaining.

When I have access to a computer I’ll update my stats.

I’m alive!

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted.

The results were negative on my tests so I was just dealing with strep C.

Flag and touch football are underway and we are undefeated in both leagues so far.

My TD streak for touch football is at 1 a game for the first 2 games. I don’t care if I don’t get a single catch as long as we win but it’s nice to win AND make an impact on the game.

I’ve been seeing someone for the last few weeks and although I didn’t think I wanted a relationship anytime soon I think I want to be in one with her. Sometimes you just get “that” feeling about someone and you go for it. Luckily, I’m fairly certain she feels the same way about me. Hopefully the farm girl likes rolling with the city kid!

On top of it all I haven’t gained weight and I’m pretty certain I’ve lost fat and put on some muscle.

Workout

I ended up only having an hour to workout but I got it done.

I did the bench press, leg press, squats, lat pull downs, triceps extension with the rope, and a half hour of cardio to wrap it up.

I’m so incredibly sore from football practice.

But, I’m still going to the gym in about an hour to work hard for 90 minutes.

Here we go!

3-0

We won 35-14. We scored a kickoff TD and an interception return for a TD.

I had a quiet game but it was good to run around and work up a sweat.

Now I need to try and get to sleep!

2-0 on the Flag Football season and I am so sore. We only have 8 guys out regularly so we all get a lot of playing time.

We didn’t play our best game last week, but won. So, it was nice to hit our stride tonight and maintain a lead throughout the game.

My gym buddy really sprained her ankle today apparently. I feel so bad for her, she’s sprained an ankle 3 times in the last 6 months.

Looks like I’ll be going solo to the gym for awhile.

Back at the gym tonight!

I decided that I am not going to deactivate my blog and start a new one.

I’m going to have ups and downs and essentially erasing a huge chapter in this journey is a mistake. I’m turning the page, not starting over.

I’ll update my stats as soon as I get them and I’ll be on my way.

Weekly weigh ins will be happening. Progress (if you want to call it that) pics will be updated.

I’ll be sure to post about the workout tonight as well.
